A favorite with Phi Phi dive staff if they want to spend a little more. Sino Imperial.
Rattana Mansion – Cheap A/C rooms with very helpful staff, 2 minutes walk from the big Robinsons shopping center and night food market. A lot of Phi Phi dive staff use this hotel as a base when in Phuket, it is basic but in a good location. Rattana Masion.

The On On guest house – This is the oldest hotel in Phuket Town and used to be the biggest dump (think the hotel scene with Leonardo Decaprio in the movie The Beach). On On Guest House.
Blue Carina – good swimming pool but 10 minutes drive from Phuket town however only a 3 minute walk from the massive Central Shopping center which has a wide range of restaurants, cinema screens and 4 floors of shopping.
