Complete the PADI Open Water course with Phi Phi Barakuda and open the door to a whole new world of fun, travel and adventure. To earn this rating you will be completing 5 beach dives, 5 knowledge development sessions and 4 open water dives all of this with your instructor


All our Open Water Courses are conducted by a PADI Instructor at a ratio of 2 to 1 max 4 to 1 + Divemaster! 95% are 2 to 1, when we say small teaching groups we mean small, this gives you the student more direct contact with the instructor!

The course takes normally 3 to 4 days, however extra tuition for people who are nervous is included in the normal price but can consume an extra day or so.

During your classroom section you will view the PADI Open Water DVD, you can buy this as well for refreshing your knowledge once back home but it is not a compulsory requirement.

After you have completed your knowledge reviews from your PADI Open Water Book you will then need to sit the PADI Open Water Exam.!

Don't panic it is only 4 quick quizzes and a final multiple choice paper, the course is designed for you to PASS, if you mess up on any question then your instructor will be on hand to explain where you went wrong...

During the course you will be assigned an instructor who specialises in teaching open water divers, you will also be covered by our dive insurance and while on our boat you will have food, fruit, hot and cold drinks.
If you are using our dive equipment, then rest assured it is high quality and serviced every month!
