Safe Diving Practice
All
customers who take a PADI course with Phi Phi Barakuda are covered by our
dive center insurance, certified divers are responsible for their own dive
insurance while fun diving.
All our dive boats carry emergency oxygen and first aid kit, all dive leaders
and instructors are EFR trained.
Phi Phi Barakuda has an Emergency Action Plan for each dive site in the
unlikely event of a dive accident.
Phi Phi Barakuda are members of the (SSS) Recompression Chamber Network,
the world’s largest private hyperbaric network.
Location
We
are located in a charming small village called Ton Sai, in the heart of
Phi Phi Don. Ton Sai is the only settlement in the Phi Phi National Marine
Park. Our dive center is only a 90 second walk from the main ferry port.
At
our dive center you will find friendly staff and a well stocked shop
that is open on two sides. Right behind the shop are our filling station,
maintenance and storage rooms. Above our shop you will find our classroom
and restroom facilities for relaxation before and after diving all classrooms
have air-con fitted.
Phi Phi strikes a thrilling balance between a beautiful scenic island and
a comfortable holiday resort, only 90 minuets from Phuket or Krabi.
Barakuda can offer you all the diving you need, we also only teach
PADI courses and our Instructor teams are multi lingual, making learning
easy, our Divemasters have hundreds of dives under their belts leading divers
from different parts of the world all most everyday
Barakuda can now offer our internet guest the ability to book online their
dive packages and or dive courses and pay either a deposit or in full via

"JP" became a PADI open water scuba instructor
in 1995, and a DAN instructor in 1996, after three years of teaching
students at all levels he decided to take the highest level exam set
by PADI, that being the course director exam, which he duly past in 1999.
My goal is not just to get you through an Instructor
exam, but to have you confident and prepared to take on the world as a
PADI professional for when you leave for your chosen scuba location, thats
why I focus on teaching in small groups!
